Setting-up Allied Health Sciences Institution:
In order to increase the Healthcare Services in India, conscious decision has been taken by the Central Government and State Governments to permit the establishment of Medical Colleges and attached Hospitals which will improve the supply of Medical Manpower and Increase in Health Care Services. However, there is still shortage of Paramedical Manpower. The requirement of Paramedical personnel is estimated to be around 350-400 such personnel for each Medical College/Teaching Hospital. In addition, a number of General Hospitals and Super Specialty Hospitals are coming up in various parts of the Country.In order to meet the requirement of Paramedical Manpower, it is essential to establish Medical Institutions imparting regular Training Courses leading to Degree or Diploma in various Paramedical subjects like Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Laboratory Technology, Radiology, Microbiology, Optometry, Audiometry/Speech Therapy,etc.
The Company has provided Technical Consultancy for establishing Paramedical Colleges, which are generally setup along with Medical Colleges so that Training of Paramedical Personnel can be done in the attached Hospitals.
